Interfaith Emergency Services was born because local faith leaders saw people in crisis and decided that compassion should be coordinated. That instinct is deeply Christian: stop asking whether the need fits neatly inside your institution and ask what love requires next.

Try one concrete act.

Volunteer for one shift. Bring your church or business group. Run a food or hygiene drive. Give directly. Learn what the Center for Life does. Tour the ministry before deciding how you can help.

You do not need to solve poverty in Marion County. You can refuse to let “I cannot do everything” become permission to do nothing.
