Building Bridges

Bridge Builder Brand
"Where there is strife, there is pride, but wisdom is found in those who take advice." (Proverbs 13:10)

Who Am I?

This blog isn’t about me—it’s about Jesus.
But since you’re here, here’s the quick download.

I’m Chris Cahill—part pastor, part punk rocker, part financial strategist, and 100% sold out for Christ. My life’s been a wild ride: from the Marine Corps to the ministry, from war zones to worship teams, from corporate boardrooms to backroads on my motorcycle. I’ve worn a lot of hats. But the thread running through it all? Jesus. Always Jesus.

I’ve spent over 20 years navigating the trenches of finance and business consulting—helping others steward their money without selling out their soul. I hold degrees in education, finance, and theology (yeah, I’m that guy), but nothing’s taught me more than real life: the brokenness, the beauty, the questions no Sunday sermon seems to answer.

I live in Central Florida, but I’ve walked the streets of Japan, prayed on mountain tops in Wyoming, and played drums in grungy bars from Hawaii to Maryland. I’m married to Lexie—my anchor and adventure partner of 27 years—and we’re raising two amazing teenagers who keep us humble and full of wonder.

When I’m not writing, preaching, or counseling the broken-hearted through Interfaith Ministries, you’ll find me riding with the Christian Motorcycle Association or slapping rhythm on a Cajon box at Jesus House in Ocala, Florida. I also help Christian startups and ministries launch with purpose through Next-Yes.com and the Florida Christian Business Network—because Kingdom work should be excellent, not mediocre.

This blog? It’s for the question-askers, bridge-builders, Jesus-chasers, and anyone tired of surface-level religion.

I’m not here to impress. I’m here to walk with you—through the tension, the truth, and the transformation.

Let’s chase what matters.
