Previous trips carried medical supplies and medicines. Once there, the team saw needs that would not end when the trip did: ongoing hunger, practical needs, and children needing educational support in the remote indigenous communities of La Mosquitia and Montaña de La Flor. That experience is shaping the return.
Listen before you unload.
We can pack a suitcase with supplies and still arrive full of assumptions. The work begins with listening. We go to serve, learn, and bring what is useful, letting the Gospel travel through humility and a steady presence rather than a rescuer’s script.
Most of us will never travel those roads. We can still pay attention. BridgeBuilder can share verified needs before the trip and honest outcomes afterward. Follow the mission story, learn what is needed, and consider your part. Greg’s GoFundMe campaign is linked there; donations go through the campaign, not through BridgeBuilder.
Faith, hope, and love in action through Christ and kindness.
